Have you been looking for a structured, guided way to fit physical activity into your life? Are you nervous about working out in a gym or unsure of what you’re currently able to do? Would you like to make your everyday activities easier and safer? If you answered “yes!” to any of these questions, then this small group training is perfect for you!
In this class we will work on:

  • Endurance
In this workshop, that is limited to 4 participants, you will get individualized attention and be able to try and learn several different modalities in this safe and structured environment.

Life Luggage for Women: Big Changes You Can Make in Minutes

Tuesdays, 9/26,  10/3, & 10/10 6:45 – 8:00 pm

Join Renee Lindquist (Yoga Therapist/Somatic Practitioner), Marty Larson (Owner and Founder of UA), and Cindy Land (Pelvic Floor Specialist) for this 3 part series on Pelvic Floor Health, Bone Health, and Pre and Post Menopausal awareness and skill building.
In this workshop you will learn and practice:
  • the anatomy of breathing
  • correct recruitment to increase tone or decrease pelvic muscle tension
  • reflexive abdominal engagement vs “bearing down”
  • long term bone health
  • meditation and relaxation techniques
  • synchronicity of body/mind

SomaYoga for Neck & Shoulders

In our culture we frequently text, drive and sit in front of computers resulting in lasting changes in our posture: head forward, shoulders shrugged and forward, upper back hunched.

If this posture sounds familiar and you experience chronic neck and shoulder pain, join Renee in this informative and posture changing workshop! Learn the source of your pain and how to unwind it. SomaYoga is a very gentle form of therapeutic yoga that uses muscular re-education to release chronic pain and tension. No prior yoga experience necessary.

Yoga for Better Sleep

A good nights sleep boosts our immune system, improves our mood, and sharpens our cognitive skills. And, improving our sleep habits can also improve our relationships.

If you’re not sleeping soundly, you’re not alone. 40% of Americans struggle with chronic or semi chronic insomnia. This lack of sleep affects our driving, work productivity, energy level and eating habits. Many people don’t realize they are sleep deprived. Sleep deprivation contributes to car accidents, weight gain and lack of energy.

In this workshop we will examine our daily routines, what we do and don’t do to prepare for sleep. Then, you will be introduced to new ways to help ready the body for sleep and slow the mind for rest.
